Pumpkin Book Character Contest

Join us in our first ever pumpkin book character contest! Kids, teens, adults, and families are invited to stop by the library beginning Monday, October 13 to pick up a pumpkin to decorate as their favorite book character. Pumpkins available at the Children's and Adult Information desks while supplies last. If you missed picking up a pumpkin, feel free to use your own.

Take your pumpkin home and get creative. Turn your pumpkin into your favorite book character using paint or other craft supplies. Keep in mind that if you choose to carve your pumpkin, please do so closer to the drop-off date to keep it fresh.

Bring your pumpkin back to the Library along with the description sheet no later than Monday, October 27. We'll put them on display for fellow library patrons to vote on beginning Tuesday, October 28. Voting will take place through Monday, November 3. Winners in each category will be announced shortly after.
