A Wealth of Nature is a project spearheaded by Eddee Daniel, a Milwaukee-based photographer and writer, and Preserve Our Parks, a non-profit dedicated to preservation and promotion of parks and open space. Eddee has traveled throughout the Milwaukee region documentng the area's abundance of nature and recreational opportunities. Eddee will describe the project, the challenges parks are facing, what Preserve Our Parks is doing about them, and share his beautiful photographs--with an emphasis on the vicinity of Wauwatosa. 

Eddee is a Milwaukee-based photographer, writer, and curator of The Natural Realm, a blog about nearby nature. He has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and public speaker and is the author of Urban Wilderness: Exploring a Metropolitan Watershed and The Milwaukee Rover Greenway: A Wealth of Nature in the Heart of the City. Eddee is on the board of Preserve Our Parks. He has been a resident of Wauwatosa for 35 years.
