DESCRIPTION:Learn about some of the beautifully deep mysteries of honeybee
 s, and how you can welcome more wonderful bee-wild-erment into your own li
 fe and your own backyard. Honeybees fascinate so many people, and yet not 
 everyone can or should keep bees, as it must be done in a responsible and 
 ecological manner. But everyone can enjoy and wonder at amazing bees, and 
 support healthy landscapes that are good for bees and for us, too! We will
  balance some wonderful bee science with practical elements to bring you c
 loser to the world of bees, trees, flowers and ultimately the living world
 .Brian Gleichauf and his family (human and bee) collaborate to operate Bub
 ’s Honey in Racine, WI (https://www.facebook.com/BubsHoneyRacine), a hon
 eybee-centered ecological education initiative. They sell local raw honey 
 for the health of human neighbors, and use the proceeds in service of the 
 health of bees and all wild and cultivated living beings. Brian likes to t
 each and learn and spread the joy of living in harmony with all of one’s
  neighbors, human and non-human. Brian holds a BA in Physics from Michigan
  State University, an M.A. in Theological Studies from McCormick Theologic
 al Seminary, and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from the Center for Anthro
 posophy. He has been keeping bees for 15 years, in alleys, on rooftops, in
  backyards and now in four locations, including two nature centers, in Rac
 ine. In addition to beekeeping, Brian has passions for science, mathematic
 s, agrarian living, ecological thought and practice, philosophy and theolo
 gy, bicycling, composting, land and people restoration, and permacultureâ€
